Remedial Massage

This service is claimable with health insurance - Hicaps . Improve muscular performance and restore a balanced energy flow throughout the body. Focusing on specific areas in the deeper layers of muscle tissue, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Deep and direct pressure releases are utilised to alleviate chronic patterns of tension, reducing pain and tightness.

Intense and invigorating. Melt away knots and tensions in tight and aching muscles with full body stretching and cross muscle fibre massage techniques.  Disperse the built-up lactic acid in muscles. Best after heavy exercise.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation massage is usually a full body or head, neck and shoulders treatment that uses continual contact and long, flowing strokes which warm the body and help the body and mind to relax. Happy hormones such as dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins are released which give that post massage glow.

Pregnancy Massage

Feel supported from top to toe. Designed for mothers-to-be after their first trimester. Tight shoulders and heavy legs are massaged using luxurious aromatic rose oils incorporating a scalp and facial massage. Helps to alleviate an aching back, reduce peripheral swelling and soothe the nervous system.

Deep Tissue / Sports Massage

Deep Tissue/Sport Massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is designed to reach the deep sections of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibres. Using deep muscle compression and friction along the grain of the muscle, the purpose of deep tissue massage is to unstick the fibres of the muscles and release both toxins and deeply held tension points. Specific hand positions and strokes are used to respond to various tissues while breath and movement techniques are employed to release muscular congestion. It helps to loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. It is both corrective and therapeutic. It is beneficial for many physical problems, including sports injuries and chronic pain.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle whole body massage treatment that relaxes the nervous system and aids the body's immune system. It is highly recommended for those prone to and recovering from sore throats, colds, infections, on-going tiredness, excess fluids, low immunity, swollen node and also for the physically inactive.

Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the principle that congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. These parts, known as reflex points can also be found on the hands and other body parts.
